Dauphin panel and ServInfo button problem

Featured Replies

Yet another Dauphin situation! When i attach my ServInfo button to the panel so that i may fly it on Vatsim, i find an empty spot and attach it and save just as i have with ALL my aircraft. When i start FS2002 Pro and get in the cockpit i see my button attached where i put it but find all my other gauges in a stack in upper left corner of the windscreen on the centerpost.Nice neat stack, still functioning from what i can tell but not on the panel! Any clues or suggestions would be great help! This is on both the latest versions and i even did a fresh download to try it again with same results.I now have 2 Bond versions and 1 of the other with this situation! Thanx in advance!Jim ReynoldsZOA_JRAAL232HC818SH

OK now! Dont shoot me but i found the problem. On installing the ServInfo button it remembers its location but doesnt transfer the position for all the other guages to the new panel.cfg file. You have to transer all the positons for the guages to the new file from the old file. All my other aircraft did this automatically. I was in too much of a hurry to post my question before doing my research on the problem! And now I bow humbly... exit stage left!Jim ReynoldsZOA_JRAAL232HC818SH

Jim is right. The ServInfo gauge installer doesn't save the new cfg file correctly, maybe since it has a lots of tabs and spaces :)Easiest way to get your Servinfo gauge working is to backup your orginal panel.cfg. Then use the gauge installer. Now copy the Servinfo stuff from there into your backuped orginal panel.cfg file and use that one.OK, here are just the Servinfo settings from my panel.cfg. Maybe you can use it and have things done more quickly:&l;Window Titles&r;....Window07=ServInfo&l;Window00&r;....gauge37=servinfo!toggle,562,514,20,14&l;Window06&r;.....&l;Window07&r;BACKGROUND_COLOR=0,0,0size_mm=250,312window_pos=0.00,0.00visible=0ident=12777gauge00=servinfo!list,0,0,250,312Hope this is clear enough :)Good luck with cut&paste.... :)Robert:-rotorEDCJ
