April 20, 200323 yr Well, the weather was so nice this afternoon, I decided to head down from sunny Long Island to Atlantic City for the weekend in one of the trusty Metro Helicopters Dauphins! Here are the links to three sets of screenshots that I took along the way. As with all Metro flights, this was online, on VATSIM.Part 1:http://forums.avsim.com/dcboard.php?az=sho..._id=36857&page=Part 2:http://forums.avsim.com/dcboard.php?az=sho..._id=36867&page=Part 3:http://forums.avsim.com/dcboard.php?az=sho..._id=36868&page=Hope you rotorheads out there like these shots!WayneMetro 7 / NMH07Metro Helicopterswww.metrohelo.orghttp://forums.avsim.com/user_files/4146.jpg
April 20, 200323 yr And another really cool set of screenshots. Thanks for sharing them, Wayne. Looks like it was a great flight.I especially was interested in the IFR shot....someday I'll have to learn that too. BTW, the interior of that Dauphin looked pretty spiffy. :-sun1-Lindy :-rotor:-wave
April 20, 200323 yr Nice shots Wayne. What kit are you using when you go IFR? I see the AP panel, and the old Dauphin GPS, but whats the rest?CheersAlun
April 20, 200323 yr I use FlightMax, the Dauphin version 1.1 GPS and autopilot. I also have AI Bridge, which works with the FlightMax TCAS when online on VATSIM. I use the standard FS2K2 Flight Planner, and download to the Dauphin's GPS. I also have programmed about twenty "direct to" NY/NJ/CT area heliport and airport locations for the Dauphin GPS.Regards,WayneMetro 7 / NMH07Metro Helicoptershttp://forums.avsim.com/user_files/4371.jpg
