September 10, 200322 yr Hi folksHere is a sneak preview of my new HUD HELIHUD04. http://members.rogers.com/shanley0620/Hud%...structions.htmlIt has taken about 6 weeks and a couple of hundred hours of constant work to get it almost ready to release.I have really concentrated on making it a HUD that helps student pilots learn to hover. I have a 15 year old son, and he and his friends are generation VIDEO. However, one of his buddies was able to hover ( not too badly at all) the Bell206 using this HUD within 20 minutes of sitting in front of the computer. That convinced me I was on the right track. So take a peek, and, if all goes well it will be released this weekend. Some minor tweaks yet to do to the R22 version, but still on target.Steve
September 11, 200322 yr Hi Steve,Long time since we last spoke. The Heli-Hud looks great! I am sure once you have it ready for release it will inspire more simmers to have ago at flying helis. Sure looking forward to trying out myself, and hopefully honing my heli handling! Keep cool buddy...Aidihttp://www.vfr-flightcenter.com/avsim_sig.jpg

Aiden.if you could check with the uploads folks to make sure I updated the HUD correctly, it would be most appreciated.
September 14, 200322 yr Did a quick couple of test with each craft, kudos, very inovative and is going to help me as well as others to perfect their flying skils. Have not seen such a clear HUD graphics sense Falcon 4. Thank you.John
October 9, 200322 yr Steve, have you decided to make those plans for your helicoper controls avaliable? I tried to access your website but only the old one is there.
