December 9, 200322 yr HH-65 for Fly! IIhttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/52092.jpgIt looks a lot better than in this JPG...It includes working door and roof, working wipers (both from the inside and outside), pilots' heads that turn, and possibly a working searchlight that can be moved with a Joystick's hat button. I don't think the A/P will be ready in time for this first release. The panels and systems are as accurate as it gets; the entire electrical, fuel, and pneumatic systems are modeled as in the real aircraft.Stay tuned...Alejandro AmigorenaCheshire, CTFly! December 10, 200322 yr I have been testing it since October, and I can tell you, its a fantastic new helo! The panels are fully functional, extremely detailed, and photo realistic. Very nice interior views, and the liveries and airframe model look really good. Alejandro and Jan - keep up the good work!WayneMetro 7 / NMH07Metro Helicopterswww.metrohelo.org

December 13, 200322 yr Alejandro!!!!You and the Team ar simply amazing. How hard would it be to write adventures like Search & Rescue 4?That would be th eULTIMATE sim for me!!!Thanks again and God blessAlfred Quintushttp://www.yourwealthinc.com/quintus
December 13, 200322 yr Alfred,I don't have Search & Rescue, therefore I don't know what kind of missions or adventures are included. Are they random, do they include moving objects? Can you briefly describe how it works?Fly! II has a completely unexploited scripting language, Python, with which many things can be done.Although we hadn't thought about making adventures, it is something we will certainly evaluate and consider for future releases.Regards,Alejandro AmigorenaCheshire, CTFly! December 15, 200322 yr Hi Alejandro!!Sorry for not posting earlier!SR4 are rescue missions, you have to fly these missions saving people, delivering or picling up techinicians using either lanidng, rope, hoist sling basket etc.The missions are quit challenging and the flight dynamics feel good the only let down is the actual operation of the helicopter and engine managment etc, and that is where you amazing work really shines.I also believe that python would alow for such mission (rating you on performance, timing use of equipment survivalofr not of the victims etc.) alas i am absolutly hopless when it comes to computers....But there is hope yet, there might be a whole lot of unexplored possibilities in Fly II yet!!!Thanks again and God speed for you release!!!!RegardsAlfredWealth & Health at your doorstephttp://www.yourwealthinc.com/quintus
December 16, 200322 yr Well, where can we get it? I've been looking for it, but can't find any hint for a new helo for Fly!2. Which forum for fly do you mean? There are three of them! Hell, you guys make me nervous to miss something! I want that new heli!:-ukliam
December 17, 200322 yr Hi!Relax, the helo is not out yet. Soon you'll be able to track its progress in our website.Stay tuned.http://www.avsim.com/hangar/fly/dfdg/banneraa.jpg
January 7, 200422 yr Alfred,When it comes to hoists, ropes, etc. I'm afraid that Fly! can't do much. Although Fly! II does model a hook, the rope's length is fixed and it's invisible. There's currently no such thing as a hoist (variable length) but I will run this by Harry Gentilozzi (our programmer) to see if he can do some magic.Having said this, Fly! can handle missions through Python.Regards,http://www.avsim.com/hangar/fly/dfdg/banneraa.jpg
