I just now noticed .cabs are being used to store gauge files. I wondered if an "end-user" could bundle gauge files this way, and if so, how? From what I can tell however, this can only be done with .xml gauges and not .gau gauges?

There is a cab file utility available from the MS Support website. You can use WinZip to 'uncab' files easily.

Shucks.Thanks for the reply. I peeked inside some .cabs with WinRAR and noticed only .bmp's and .xml's, so I figured as much.
