Does anyone remember the bright green/white airport beacons from FS95/98 - how you could spot them from miles up and miles out? Where did these go? Some airports in FS2000/2K2 appear to have "scenery elements" for rotating beacons, but you can't see them from the air. This seems like a silly oversight, but an important one for the VFR night pilot. Yet, the beacons atop radio towers are as big as a house in places. How did this get overlooked through 2 product releases? How hard can it be to implement? Arrr. Anybody know of a 3rd party solution to this?J

But then again, I do most simming during the day. Let's hope some talented designer can figure it out. More importantly, let's hope MS includes them in FS2004 (or whatever they decide to call it).Dave
