Want the Virtual cockpit side views removed? Read this

Many people have asked how can we remove the virtual cockpit side views so we can use 2D side views. This has been discussed many times over and their is no permanent fix, as we all know that the virtual cockpit is built into the model. This temporary solution has worked for me, and I'll share it now with you.I'm not going to get into the details of the panel.cfg file but will assume we all know what it is, where it is located and how to edit it..Solution:1. Add all the 2D views to your panel.cfg file.2. Switch to the virtual cockpit and then press "shift enter" until the virtual cockpit is completely out of site. That's it, your done. When you switch back to the 2D panel, your 2D side views will now be unobstructed by the virtual cockpit views. If you wish to jump back into the Virtual cockpit to fly, simple press "shift backspace" and return the virtual cockpit back to the normal position.Cheers for now

Bump...Also, you can find some very nice 2D side views here: (under download)http://www.bahnhof.se/~classic/Nice DC9 side views if you prefer 2d views for the latest and greatest...Cheers

Here's a shot of PSS's airbus (A320) using 2d side views, and moving the virtual cockpit down. Notice the nice wing view of the A320...Leading flaps extended..Cheers
