December 3, 200223 yr For some reason, I can not find instructions within the docs about how to open the cargo door. I've seen other posts on other aircraft about pressing Shift-E-2 opening other cargo doors, but it doesn't seem to working on the Flight 1 DC-9 product.Anyone know the secret combination? If I can't open the door on the USAF C-9 Nightengale, a lot of patients are going to get rather upset if they can't disembark. I am sure this is an easy fix.Keith
December 3, 200223 yr If you look at the aircraft.cfg, you will see that version is a model3. The Swissair is a model2. The door opens on the swiss air.I changed the model number from 3 to 2 and came up blank on the textures. So I made another directory for another air force version. I copied the textures from swissair to the directory, then copied the airforce textures to the same directory. The textures that did not overwrite the swissair textures, I renamed them to match the swissair textures. In the airforce texture directory there is not a door .bmp while in the swissair directory there is.So, to answer your question you cannot upen the airforce door. Via the modification you can. Except it says swissair.
December 3, 200223 yr Easier yet. ( Duh! I should have thought of this sooner )goto http://www.flight1.com/support.asp?mode=sh...ckles%20DC-9-30Download the US Air Force template.Install it as a cargo variant. Then you can open and close the door because it will be installed as a door version.
December 3, 200223 yr Well, I downloaded the cargo door variant, but alas, I still do not know what key combination opens the cargo door. It must not be Shift-E because your image only shows the cargo door open. Shift-E just opens the crew entry door. Is there also a different key combo for the rear-stairs if that configuration is installed?Keith
