Ok now that I have the EPIC USB up and running hear's the deal.I have re-writen the FS2000.cfg file with all my "BUTTON_DOWN_EVENT_10=GEAR_DOWN" ECT... BUT UNLESS I go into fs2000options menu and change assignment the sim does not respond. It' like fs2000 does not read the cfg file at all, however it does see the analogs. and yes all the buttons are seen by windows game controler.the button # are correct allowing for the 1 # offset.As we all know fs2000 options menu does not have ALL the assignments that DOWSON has listed in his doc's. What am I over looking in ref. to setting up the config file. Yes even EPICMAIN is running as is FSUIPC.I am stumped. Any help would be wonderfull. thank's TVRON.

I had this problem once.Fs2002 makes the is assignement window match the fs2002.cfg.So there is a litle program called controll.dll, you can find into fs2002 controle doc.Just patch this litle program into module folder.That may help you.This file is from Peter Dowson.http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html

Thanks amarante I'll look for the .dll However I did figure it out. seems that the actions don't need to show up in the game options to work. What I was tring to do was start the jet eng. in the 777 aircraft. but I was telling it the wrong comands. to start the eng. you must do the folling. Toggle_altnator, marneto_left,toggle_starter1now they fire up even tho the gen/start switch does not turn off.it does however turn off in the 737 aircraft.Ron.
