Why i use EPIC rotary Module.1-Because i am using GRAYHILL 62c dual optic encoders (type 3) instead mechanical. I can plug 20 encoders on it and i need all of them.2-Because rotary module add a module#7 in Epic center. You still have 256 buttons in module 1 and 2. So it is like adding 40 buttons to your set up. In my case that was useful. When you buy EPIC rotary module encoders are not suply with.
