I have just received my complete usb epic system, but I noticed that there is no IC in the IC socket next to the voltage regulators on the 32 digit controller board. I have emailed Flightlink, but had no reply. Can anyone tell me if this is the way the board is supposed to be ?A note of interest to new owners of epic, as Ray suggests, you do not need any resistors for the 7 seg. leds on this controller.Regards...........Brian

NO it should have a chip. the chip is GAL 16v8d 25lp D26jj63 I don't know what it is but should be on your card... I would call them on the phone.. Ron.

Thank you Ron.....I have still not had a reply from Flightlink, so will have to take some further action.Quite amazing that they could send out boards incomplete.Regards.......Brian
