Hi,I need to turn the decimal piont in a display on and off - not in the devices.hpl file but during operation. This question refers to the IAS/mach display in the MCP, which is either "450" (IAS) or ".45" (Mach).Anybody can tell me how to do that with the USB EPIC, EpiCenter V.50?Hans

Was this such a dumb question?Anyway, here is the answer:You can't, not in the epl code anyway.The solution:In device descriptor you define the same three physical digits twice, once with and once without a decimal point. Than you check the offsets of the AP to see if either IAS or MACH is active and depending on this use one or the other display (again: both being the same, physically speaking).Hans
