EpiCenter 01155 and EEPROM 9647: no reaction from EPIC?

Featured Replies

Hi folks,I recently upgraded to the new EpiCenter along with the new eeprom version and experienced the following:After upgrading, EpiCenter still recognizes the hardware but when I upload my EPL project: there's no reaction from EPIC. First of all, my INIT procedure does not run. And furthermore, not a single button press is recognized by EpiCenter...I reactivated v0050 and the old eeprom and everything is working fine. But I wonder if someone had similar experiences? I even tried those new device definitions for outputs, but these don't impress my EPIC either :-(Thanks for any comments!Michael

Michael,did you recompile your code?Hans

Hans,I recompiled the code several times as I reincorporated the new device syntax for outputs. But had no luck: EPIC does neither run my INIT procedure nor recognizes any button pushs. Are you using 01155, too?Bye,Michael

As for me, I am sticking to 5.0 why fool around?... It works.

YES!Plz if you have .54could you send it to me with correct eeprom and other files that goes into windows/system32 (.system and epicio.dll)Thanks:-mad

I am using V. 50 and it works fine, only some keyboard trouble once in a while.I have downloaded 55, but it's not yet installed. And reading the posts here, I think I will wait a bit longer...Hans

Understood, I reverted back to 5.0 after this surprise and will keep it. Just wanted to try those new device syntax...--guru

  • 1 month later...

I had this too...I just received the EPIC from mircocockpit, so i had no experience with it..When i connected it, the analogs and buttons worked, but when i uploaded a simple program, everything stopped working.I connected all the hardware to my laptop USB, and there i had no problems. It seemed that the USB hub I used on my main PC wasnt 100% compatible. I've connected the epic directly to my pc instead of through a Hub, and everything works.Cheers,HIghvolt
