wrap flag for rvar

Hi all , this is my first post. I have been researching usb epl for a couple months now and have lots of questions. The syntax document states for rvar's that if you set the wrap flag to false the rvar will remain within the limits set and will not rotate.I have noticed that in some of the epl code I have analyzed, for example the hdg selector rvar's wrap flag have been set to false. My understanding is that this would be undisireable for the hdg selector due to the fact the rvar will not rotate. Am I correct in thinking this?
