epic usb programming

Featured Replies

Hi guys, after two and a half weeks of work i got some questions on programming epic, here it comes:1)I have seen all my devices in EpicInfo in Epicenter and preparedmy devices file, and i can do simple programming with buttons, keyhitsetc. but i have a lot of questions about programming analog devices,or to match them windows joystick API.I am considering using pete dawson 's epicinfo(i am working on fs2002).In its manual it saysthat i can use enque16 events or windows joystick API.But i have problems with both choices. For the first choice first of all i don't like the idea of programming analogs through enque 16 events secondly i can't find an efficient way to do that! For the second choice(reading through windows joystick API) i have problems because windows game controller do not see all my analog channels in its joystick's axes while epicinfo sees all analogs. Can you show me a way to solve this problem?Or am i just struggling by trying to use epicinfo to read my analogs then using a more simple approach? Please help....2)I tried to write a small program on c++ using epicIO sdkbut i when i tried to compile the program i don't even getepicio.hpp compiled(tried on two different compilers)!!What could be the problem?3)And at last,i am have to use a middle man such as epicmapper orepicinfo to program my cockpit with epic with its all functioning? Thanks already...
