Virtual analog axis

I have defined a virtual analog axis on epic joystick 6 (offset 5), on the X axis. I use a calibrating procedure as shown in an R&R "EPIC Devices.doc" doc::SubCalibrateHdgAxe{ EpicJoystick_06.Hdg=0; delay(25); EpicJoystick_06.Hdg=128; delay(25); EpicJoystick_06.Hdg=255; delay(25); EpicJoystick_06.Hdg=128;}Issue 1: Calibration works almost ok - whilst monitoring the "raw value" in the devide calibration window. Final calibration sets value to middle position 128, hovwever raw value shows 130.Issue 2: When integrating a rotary switch, the value communicated to the axis is different from my internal EPL variable - which by displaying it on a 7 segment display, I can confirm its accuracy. Furthermore, each rotary detent increases the value by a single unit whereas the axis' raw value sometimes increases by 2 units or more. The axis assignment is done with an epl command of this form: .=;Issue 3: I am temporarily using a range of 0 tru 255 since attempts to use a 16 bit variable have been unsuccesful although this was done defining the analog with the MEM16 type.I am using Epiccenter v 0.1.1.55.Your help on any of the above issues will be most welcome !Ysav
