How do u lock Default Vis using FSmeteo

Featured Replies

Im currently using FS2002 Vfr Scenery Pt.1 which looks best with FS2002 visability set to 10 miles or values less than 10 miles.Im also using FSmeteo 5 and would like to know how to set it up so that it never gives a visability more than 10 miles, but also accepts lower vis values depending on the MET report recieved. So far im getting visabilities in the range of 21 miles right down to 3/4 miles, but i just wanna block out any thing over 10 miles for use with this type of Scenery.I believe 21 miles is too much vis for the UK and think lower vis looks better with this scenery. Please help me!!!! Thanks

Hmmnn, it's not in the best taste to post a question about how to use FSMeteo in its prime competitor's forum :-). Just so you know for next time.Your answer lies in FSUIPC, not FSMeteo. Look in the options there under Visibility. Now, since I answered your question about a competitor's product in this forum, I'll blatantly plug Active Sky wxRE as a product that has more effect on how the wx looks in FS, and has a few more really, really good options. Don't get me wrong, I have FSMeteo and as one other fellow posted here, it was the best money I ever spent on FS (and I will continue to update it partly because Marc's attention to good service is worth a lot to me), but as good as it is, I think this one will be even better because it corrects a few of the bugs of FS2002's wx engine. I'm not a beta tester, I haven't seen it yet (except for the screenies), but I amd a Climatologist, I have been flying FS since its infancy, and if half the claims are true, this will be one knock-down-dead addon that won't be missed by me for sure. I also spoke of Marc's service with FSMeteo. From what I have seen, Damian is one of Marc's few equals in the FS payware business. There, a shameless plug by a paying customer :-). Go look at FSUIPC, not FSMeteo for your answers :-).GlennCo-Owner/OperatorNorth Shore Airways,Quebec City, PQCanada

"Bad form old chap" as the aces say from aces high. Wrong forum but as Glen said the option is in visibility settings in FSUIPC.And glen speaking as a beta tester and owner of FS Meteo you will get your moneys worth... the weather is a veratable work of art :)Ben

Thanks Ben! I have no doubt this is going to be one super package :-). Looking forward to it very much.
