Installed FSUIPC version 2.95, and active sky will not run..Any suggestions?

Made sure the dll is in the correct folder?Did you try a re-boot?

well, that one is a mystery. I intsalled FSUIPC v2.95 when it came out and ActiveSky wxRE still continues to run without fault or errors.Suggestion: manually remove FSUICP and the configuration file, then re-install FSUICP v2.95 and the configuration file (this file is found within the ActiveSky wxRE folder, copy into Modules folder).Hope this helps you and anyone else who has the same problem.regards,David

The solution is simple.After installing ActiveSky wxRE, you installed another add-on that replace version 2.95 of FSUIPC with an older version. Go to your FS2002/Modules folder and remove the FSUIPC.dll file that's currently there and reinstall version 2.95.

:-hmmm Well thanks for the tips, but I've tried all that. I've un-installed Activesky, removed both v 2.95 FSUIPC files (DLL and INI), and cannot get it to work. Everytime FSUIPC 2.95 is in the modules folder, Active sky tells me to use v2.94 or above and then fails with a runtime error...I reinstalled v2.94 and all works fine. :-hmmm
