Offline Weather by date ?

Featured Replies

Hello DamianFirst of all I like the program especially the dynamic portion of it.I would like to save specific weather situations, if possible by date in order to use them offline lateron. The problem I have if I keep the present structure of the files, a specific cycle12z will be overwritten next time if I download the next cycle at the same time. However if I rename the files, the program will not accept them.Do you have a solution to this problem ?Thanks and best regardsKurt

Hello DamianThis version works:- I have created a file called dweather files- within this file a create a subfile called 030108 which stands for year month and day- I do not change the wx file namesRegardsKurt

Hi KurtI like keeping especially interesting downloaded wx files. I made a separate folder (Metars) in the wxRE folder, and into load each of the "interesting" wx's.I name each one such as 030109_16z (year, month, date and UTC). They then display in correct order. They list under the files to select in the Options page of the program.Works very well for me.CheersMike
