January 21, 200323 yr Damian did not ask me to post this (in fact, he could have been quite upset by my original post on this matter, but to his credit he simply tried to solve my problem rather than gripe about this :-) ).I've got to be more careful about what I definitively call a bug. For those of you who were following my earlier post with the subject, "This one IS a bug..." you'll know that Damian and I have figured out that in fact, Active Sky wxRE was just doing it's job. It was being confused by 2 nearby NOAA stations that did not give out valid METAR's, but in the end it was still coming up with the right station. I didn't understand the innerworkings of the program so that to me it looked like it was freezing on the oddball station, when in fact it did finally search out the station with the correct METAR, and doing it in the time it was programmed to do it in. It is not a bug with wxRE (I wish I was as bug-free as this program :-) )!My apologies to Damian and his beta-testers, and of course to you folks who might have been misled by my post's Subject. Next time I'll be more careful before I start assuming there is a problem. The one good thing that has come out of this is that there is a fix (and an easy one) if anyone else finds a similar problem. That is thanks in part to the program's great flexibility.Glenn
