No weather in FS2002

Featured Replies

I've just downloaded the program and did all the configs. Everything looks OK, the system gets the metars but nothing shows up in FS2002. I've tried online, offline, fs running, not running with the same result. The MSFS weather screen shows the MS default weather but wxRE shows the real weather. I've double checked all the config buttons and all seem fine. Obviously I missed something along the way. I have a Dell Pentium 4, 2ghz, 256k RAM, XP Home. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,Tom

Tom,I'll give you some ideas and you can try them and return your results.1. With FS running does the main wxRE screen say "FS connected"?2. What version of FSUIPC are you using?Jim

My main screen says fs active and the fsuipc is 2.96 and this time when I loaded everything worked fine. I have no idea what was happining but I'm sure it was something I did. Thanks for your assistance. Tom

That's great. As you use this, keep in mind that sometimes it takes up to 5 minutes for all the weather to show up in FS, especially upon initial startup.

You might also want to remember that FS2k2 doesn't update properly if you have weather programmed into FS2k2's World/Weather screen. Weather in FS2k2 should be "clear" before activating ActiveSky.~ Andy SutterMA825/KSFO (Meridian VA)kZAU ARTCC

Thanks, I'll do that, Tom
