Hi, Does anyone know what runways the planes use on a normal day? Is it 34 or 16?? I just want to know so i can use the correct runways for landing in my AFCAD?? Right now they are landing on 34? Is this correct? or is it the other end? Apprecite the Info! MIKE-:)

Well the planes land in the direction that most into the wind. However, there are often protests with balloons and such things to the south of the airport. Thus they may land with a slight tailwind to avoid hitting balloons etc. Also, they have just opened 34R/16L, but all heavies unless they're really light have to use 34L/16R due to their size.HTH

From flying there several times a yr:Usually land on 34R (new shorter RW) from DFW on 777, then take off on 34L. Receprical heading depending on winds. 744s land on 34L.Pat
