Can someone please advise a non tech head why the clouds on my system look great until I fly through them, pan sideways and see only thin vertical sheets? Is this normal? Am I missing a setting somewhere?System 2.53GH, 512MB DDR @ 266MHz, 64mB GeForce 4, XP pro, FS2002 cloudsThanks in advance

Paul,This is a known problem in FS. The fix is to make sure you have no text on your screen when viewing the clouds from the side. Turn off the text(Shift + Z) and the clouds will look better.Hope this helps,Jim

Both of your suggestions (which have been passed around for quite some time) have not been proven to clear up the gentleman's problem.I (as well as thousands of others, I imagine) have the same problem.It is, and always has been, a Microsoft problem which will be with us until (?) the next generation of flight simulator is released.gwillmot
