April 24, 200323 yr Hi,Did a search and looked at the FAQ but didn't find an answer for my question. I do a lot of online flying on Vatsim using Squawkbox. Does Activesky work while flying online? If so, how does it do it? Does it override the weather that Squawkbox provides? Wouldn't that make my weather different from the Vatsim controller's weather?I'm very interested in purchasing Activesky. I just need to know if it works while flying with Vatsim & Squawkbox. Thanks,Mark
April 24, 200323 yr Well, there is an option in Activesky where you can choose to download weather from either Vatsim servers or from the NOAA(Real world) servers. If you fly online, like I do, use the "use Vatsim weather option" and you'll have consistant weather like ATC and other pilots. You have to select in the Squawkbox menu the option to ignore weather since you're using an external program.BTW, it works great, I've been hit by wake turbulence while on final to EGLL a few weeks back. I was flying the PSS A320 and was following a 767 or 777, can't remember. Really fun!To enable wake turbulence you need to install AIBridge.Hope this helps.Regards,Bjorn
April 24, 200323 yr Bjorn,Thanks for your reply! You even answered a question I was about to ask which was about wake turbulence. I do have the AIBridge installed and use it often. So I think I will go ahead and get this. Thanks again!Mark
