I was located at KSFD when the following screen shot was taken. KSFD obviously has a valid metar as can be seen on the top line. Why is Active Sky using K9V9 weather which is 32 miles away? I hit refresh. I have update metar on new station checked. I am at KSFD. It has a valid metar. Why is Active Sky not using the KSFD weather? I tried this again after downloading another weather set at a different time and got the same results.

Jim,I found the problem. KSFD was not in the ICAO text file. It is now. Guess you can GET weather from any station in the cycle file, but WxRE will only use them if they are in the ICAO file.
