Using off line mode - no problems with metars and taffs. But when it changes to 'downloading todays winds' it hangs and attempts to connect about five times before getting going again. This adds another 3 minutes to download time.Any reason for this? Other wise absolutely delighted with program.RegardsDavid EICK

David,The download to create the Offline files is rather large. Turn on the Low-Bandwidth Winds Download option and see if this helps. Also, the NOAA servers were not real reliable yesterday and part of today.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Support

Jim,Have Dave do a complete reinstall of his Activesky and then check with his internet provider to see if his computer might be behind a proxy server.
