AS is stable now, but early evenings (UK time)... this error occurs

Featured Replies

I seem to get the following grey warning window popping up a lot of the time in the evenings, & restarting doesn't fix it much."---------------------------ActiveSky wxRE---------------------------There is a communications problem with the Aloft server. Please use offline mode or try again later.. The problem should correct itself soon.---------------------------OK ---------------------------"During the day, Activesky runs fine, so it seems to be simply an overloading due to high demand ??? - As it always seems to be happenning early evening UK time & into the night (More people logging on)Is this something out of Damians's hands, or can access to the Aloft server be beefed up???I'm running AS 1.86Look forward to an answer.Al

Al,For the time being Damian has done all he could to configure and code AS to work as quickly and reliably as possible. At times he is not happy with the performance of the servers himself and has publicly stated such. Depending on Internet traffic and server traffic it is possible to get that message. But also keep in mind that as long as AS has data in its system it is processing that data for FS. Some users think that when those messages come up that AS stops working, but this is not the case.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Support

Thanks for shedding some light on the matter Jim. All the bestAl
