V1.91 looses wind dir at destination???

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,Not sure if this has been noted before.I'm still running FS2002 (can't be bothered to upgrade yet *grin*)I have AS 1.91 running with FSUIPC 2.975 .. (FSUIPC has had its params set how i like them for a long time now & not altered.)After loading a flight plan, AS picks up the destination & loads the weather. (I have dest force set to 100nm)... both viewing the app screen & tuning into 122.00 gives a breakdown, & all seems perfect! (and showing a wind dir at the dest: e.g.: 210 @ 10)However whilst flying the route (sometimes speeding time to 4x, but sometimes NOT), I notice that even thought AS is showing "Weather Processing Complete" with no visible errors. tuning into 122.00 nearly ALWAYS states that the wind dir at the destination is 000 ... but it does still give wind speed & cloud layers etc... Initially, i thought "well maybe the wind HAS changed dir to be blowing EXACTLY from the north..." But NOT every time...surely!!!!!! Even stranger.... Pressing REFRESH completes a full download & successfully updates.. but the wind dir is still 000 .. But if i close AS completely & restart it, The wind dir at my destination staps back into action!!Ver 1.90 didn't do this, and from my experience, this was the most stable & perfect running version. Only since v1.91 has this strange occurance appeared.Any thoughts on this...?CheersAl

Al,Thanks for writing. Question: Is it just Flightwatch reporting 000 or does the METAR data state 000 also?Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Support

Hi Jim..After squinting at the metar data in the AS main window .. it shows 000 also, So Flightwatch is correctly reporting what the App is showing... As i mentioned, stopping & restarting the APP seems to slap it into acton.Would posting my .ini files for AS & FSUPC be of any help?TaAl :-)
