December 30, 200322 yr HI AS TeamI am using AS2004 FSUIPC 3.135 and ofcourse FS2004.My Problem: When i have maybe on FL120 winds up to 30 or 40 kts, i have the kts still to the bottom. The weather dont update. I even have to land ever with this strong winds, on every airport. It works only when i make on 5000ft or 8000ft or whatever the Clear all weather option in FSUIPC and sometimes AS dont update the weahter thereafter.Duno what the porblem is, //wxRE configuration file - be careful with edits here[General]WXREOfflinePath = D:ProgrammeActiveSky wxREExportPath = D:ProgrammeActiveSky wxREOperationMode = OnlineDefaultOfflineFile = defcycle02Z.wxdDisableCloudTransitions = FalseDisableMessages = TrueLowBandwidthWinds = FalseExportMetars = FalseAutoTimeZoneDetection = TrueMETARUpdateInterval = 15FDUpdateInterval = 20UpdateMETAROnNewStation = TrueUseShortTermTAF = FalseWindsAloftSimulation = TrueFS2004Writes = FalseIdlePriority = FalseVATSIMMetars = FalseDefaultForceRange = 60ZuluConversion = 1RainVisReduction = TrueOvercastHorizonVis = TrueDisableForceWindUpdates = FalseTAFProcessing = FalseWakeTurb = FalseDisableUpdatesWhenForced = FalseStartPaused = FalseCloudTransitionInterval = 30MinimumCloudThickness = 200UseSystemTime = TrueDisableCAVOKClouds = FalseProxyAddress = NONEProxyPort = 80fsuipc[General]History=MAN9DM8SCMACIHBY3YRBNTCASid=Type+TCASrange=40TrafficScanPerFrame=10AxisCalibration=NoCentredDialogue=NoClearWeatherDynamics=YesOwnWeatherChanges=YesWeatherReadInterval=4MainMenu=&ModulesSubMenu=&FSUIPC ...WindSmoothing=YesWhiteMessages=NoThrottleSyncAll=NoGraduatedVisibility=YesLowerVisAltitude=6000UpperVisAltitude=25000UpperVisibility=6000GenerateCirrus=NoWindShearSharp=NoUpperWindGusts=YesExtendMetarMaxVis=YesPatchSimApAlt=YesAutoClearWeather=YesExtendTopWind=NoWindSmoothness=-3SmoothPressure=YesPressureSmoothness=5SmoothVisibility=YesVisibilitySmoothness=4MaxSurfaceWind=0WindLimitLevel=200WindDiscardLevel=400WindAjustAltitude=NoWindAjustAltitudeBy=2000MinimumVisibility=0MaximumVisibilityFewClouds=6000MaximumVisibility=2000MaximumVisibilityOvercast=2000MaximumVisibilityRainy=1000OneCloudLayer=NoThinClouds=YesThinThunderClouds=NoCloudThinness=1000ThunderCloudThinness=10000CloudTurbulence=NoCloudIcing=NoWindTurbulence=NoSuppressAllGusts=NoExternalOptionControl=YesAutoTuneADF=NoMagicBattery=YesKeepFS98CloudCover=NoRudderSpikeRemoval=NoElevatorSpikeRemoval=NoReversedElevatorTrim=NoAileronSpikeRemoval=NoShowPMcontrols=NoTrapUserInterrupt=YesNavFreq50KHz=YesClockSync=NoSmoothIAS=YesSetVisUpperAlt=NoVisUpperAltLimit=6000SuppressCloudTurbulence=NoSuppressWindTurbulence=NoSpoilerIncrement=512FixWindows=YesFixControlAccel=NoMoveBGLvariables=Yes[JoystickCalibration]FlapsSetControl=0ReverserControl=66292MaxThrottleForReverser=0AileronTrimControl=0RudderTrimControl=0Throttle=-16193,16192PropPitch=-16193,15303
December 30, 200322 yr Hi,Not sure what you wanted, but you posted the .ini file for wxRE. If your question is about wxRE, you need to turn "FS2004 weather writes" to ON. If your question is about AS2004, the .ini file is usually in the FS/Modules/AS2004 folder.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Support
December 30, 200322 yr Hisorry es mean WxRe with FS2004.you mean this line in wxre.inf?FS2004Writes = False? And that set to on?regardsMarcus
December 30, 200322 yr Marcus,OK!Yes, thats the line. Make it say True, save and close. Let us know if that does it!Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Support
