Any chance of a limit visibility setting?

Featured Replies

Hello, I am an owner of AS2004 and am quite satisfied with it.What I am not satisfied with, however, is the way in which FS2004 renders unlimited visibility. FS2004 seems to have a limitation where the detailed ground textures are drawn up to only 50 miles from the aircraft, so you can see the sharp line where the detailed textures turn into the fuzzier distant texture. I found this phenomenon can be eliminated by reducing the visibility to 50 miles (instead of unlimited). However, the FS2004 engine is also set up so that if you fly over the visibility layer, then the visibility goes to unlimited which I hate.To make a long story short, is there any chance the next release of AS2004 could include a setting for max visibility? Thanks for listening.-Derek

You can do this already with FSUIPC.

I take it you are referring to the registered version of FSUIPC? If so, that's unfortunate because I don't have any plans to buy that in the forseeable future.
