I have the same thing with some add-on scenery, but have not encoutered it with Active Sky. My main problem is FS keeps crashing now. Have no idea why.Keith

what addon scenery? I use blue sphere, but i dont think that causes this "ceiling" or visibilty problem.

Im using the new overcast layer cloud fix that just came out, and FSW's clouds
