Fantastic flight with great weather!

Featured Replies

I just did a flight from EDDF to Bucharest, Romania using AC2004. I had a couple of problems starting out (see other post) but when i did i had the most awesome flight. The weather at EDDF was wet and windy with heavy clouds. Visibility was also low. I took off and watched as i disappeared into the grey murky clouds. As i climbed up the clouds visibility improved so i could see a nice blue sky above. The way AC2004 depicted this was excellent. With the FS weather normally at a couple of thousand feet the visibility goes clear and you can look back and see the airport clearly and 100 miles around even though you took off in murky conditions. As i climbed to 20000ft the clouds got thicker and thicker (see pic below of a side view). As i arrived in Romania i was greeted with clear skies. As i decended the visibility smoothly dropped to 10 miles.Great flight, great job guys, AC2004 really improves the flight experience!

Thanks for the report!JimActiveSky Support
