Default Range for Destination

Featured Replies

Can this be sent in AS2004. I remember in WX1.9 we could set the force default range to force and update and hold for the destination like say about 30 miles out. Is this not and option in AS2004??ThanksSteve

Hi Steve,Due to the nature of station based weather, no there is not. However there are two other options: Use Update Supression which disables updates under a user defined altitude. And also, Use Local Range Supression which disables updates in a user defined radius. Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Support

Appreciate your reply, So the question I'm wondering is: will something be available in the next update to allow for forced destination weather?I posted something about a week or so ago, never did hear back though. Realize you guys are very busy, hope to hear something back.

In one of those posts Damian did reply and I am not really sure what the outcome will be. It really would be a step backwards though.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Support
