activeSKY refuses to update...

Featured Replies

Greetings,I have discovered, much to my shock and dismay that ActiveSky WXRE 1.9 is no longer willing to update the metars and upper level winds whenever I go from one station to another. I've turned the option on in the options screen, yet, the command is completely ignored. I have to manually refresh the program every 10 minutes or so because I go from one station to another. It's no fun seeing KFNT's metar when you're over Toledo, OH. Everything on the screen is right (not forcing or anything), yet, the command is completely ignored. What's also annoying is that the options are NOT being saved to the config file. Twice now, I've had to reset the options I wanted because the program decided to not actually save them when I expressly told it to do just that.*sigh*

Sounds like to me that you have a corrupt wxRE.ini file. Go into your Active Sky folder and delete the file. Start AS and let it re-build it. If you don't feel safe doing this, then cut and paste the file out and then a re-build will take place.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Support
