After Using AS2004 for a while.....Its Great

Featured Replies

I think its great, The Beta Update really helped out with wind shifting. I have found the weather to be always correct when I have used it. It is the turest most real weather I have seen yet in FS.Thanks to the AS2004 Team.Jason

Thanks Jason. I wish we could get everyone to see things like you!!JimActiveSky Support

Well Jim,Its pretty simple really. Active Sky Works & It works well. Yeah there are a few things I have noticed, one being that if you dont file a plane with AS2004, you do get some wind shifting, but again its no where near as bad as it used to be. I see like this, you fire it up, file ya plan, and it all works, the weather is as close as ive ever seen. The other day I flew from Manston in the UK to Liverpool in the UK using FSD's Navajo masterpeice. The weather was exactly as Id just seen on the TV Clear skies to the south, with snow around the midlands, and rain at Liverpool. I did not file plan with AS2004 so i did get a few nasty wind changes, but in reality its no ball flying in the sort of weather we have in the uk at the moment.I think its a marvelous effort, that will only get better. Please dont be discoureged, Im not saying this in such as to come up with the usual, that Its all ok for me and anyone who has problems needs to RTM, but I think people need to understand that this is an amazing effort. Now I would be delighted, if AS2004 could some how tell me what the active runway is at the destination airport at about 200NM away, or even at the start of the flight.Jason
