Not an AS question, but general cloud question

Featured Replies

Hello to everyone! This has nothing to do with Activesky, since this is happening to me with default clouds (Fair Weather or other preset).I load the fsim, take off, and as I change heading a bit, or more, I see clouds being draw from left to the right or from right to the left, respectively. But only the distant clouds. I've noticed it's happening only sometimes, and I was unable to determine what's causing it.Maybe you, since you are cloud experts, can easily help me with this issue. Many thanks.

Hi.Try this. Go to your your display settings in FS2004 and go to the weather tab. Set cloud draw distance to about 20-30 miles higher than your visible distance slider. So if your visibility distance slider is at 50 miles, set the cloud draw distance to 70-80 miles and see if that helps.
