AS2004 not copying weather to flightsim

Featured Replies

Yesterday, I noticed that AS2K4 was not writing to FS. I have the MR1 installed, and follow the proper precedure, ie: clear all weather through FSUIPC and have FSUIPC set to min. weather defaults. I noticed that it took a VERY long time, if at all, to write weather to fsuipc. My skies were clear, and I had no winds at all, when the weather report called for winds and clouds at serveral layers. So I uninstalled AS all the way out of my machine, and reinstalled v1.0, then build 81, and now have just installed MR1 build 90.So far, everything seems to be working the way it was before this problem started. It took less than a minute (about 30 sec.) to write the data to fsuipc, which is much improved from yesterday, and the weather is correct.I noticed that here on the forum, other pilots were reporting something simular to my problem. I don't know what had happened, nothing changed on my system, but uninstalling AS all the way out, then reinstalling it seemed to work. I hope this is not a premature posting, but we will see. And any other pilots who have encountered the same promblem, try what I did and maybe it will work for you also.Going to jump online and do a flight, I will report any promlems or if it is fixed.Blue Skies !!
