I'm sitting on the ground at CYQR the METAR showsCYQR 280000Z 16004KT 15SM OVC270 06/03 A2977 RMK CI3 SLP106Which should result in an Overcast Ceiling at 27,000ft, right?From the screen shot below you can see I only have some scattered cloud cover. FSUIPC Wethaer look utility shows the 8/8 cloud cover with type 1 clouds but it does not appear in the sim. If I use another commercial weather application with the same METAR data I get a nice overcast layer in the sim. Hi Mike,I tried with this:CYQR 280400Z 15007KT 15SM FEW270 01/M00 A2976 RMK CI1 SLP103and got a layer of few. I can't pull up the 00Z METAR yet because it isn't archived yet.Don't really know why the OVC layer didn't kick in.
