Hi all, just downloaded and tried ActiveSky - Nice indeedA couple of questions / clarifications - sorry if I missed them in the appropriate sections1) when I activate the radar, it is all black (no clouds), winds OK, weather report OK. In the manual however, there is a screenshot of the radar window which is practically green. is there something wrong? (I'm a registered user of the latest FSUIPC)2) With no flight plan loaded - let us suppose I wish to fly VFR - will the weather update anyway?3) As I prefer to fly offline, is the downloaded weather worldwide?Thanx for your attention and supportrino

Hi,Welcome to Active Sky!!1. Clouds do not show up on radar, only precipitation. Go to an area of rain/snow/sleet/freezing rain and you should get returns.2. Yes, weather will update/change both in Online Mode and Offline Mode.3. Yes, when you d'load it is worldwide. Please write back if you have more problems or questions. Also, please let us know how you come out on #1.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004proudsupporter.jpg

Thanx a lot for your prompt replyAs for #1, my mistake! - I looked at the picture in the manual and the background was green, so I assumed it was default. Instead, green is already rain, isn't it?BTW, the first patch also solved other problems, like impossibility to load a plan in active radar - had also to resave in fs9regardsrino
