One question to help me decide to purchase.

Hi guys, I've been an FSMeteo user for quite some time, and it always worked perfecty with earlier versions of FS. However, this is not the case with FS9. While it still works, I can't get past the stutters that are introduced whenever the software updates the weather stations. My question is, do you also experience this with AS2004? I've been forced to resorting back to FS9 real weather instead of using FSMeteo, but I've just been hearing all the great things about AS2004 and have done some research. All of my other questions/concerns have been answered simply by reading through this forum, but I couldn't find anything about the stutters. So, how goes it? Right now, it's the last thing keeping my CC in my wallet. ;)

Well if you have not found any posts about stutters that must mean there are none to speak about. Honestly, I have not helped any user with the stuttering issue.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004proudsupporter.jpg

As a user i've never seen stutters when updateing, unless it was a particular case:heavy scenery, landing, very bad weather. All this together can really clog your system, but that's up to the specs of the pc and detail settings: if you have a 3.6ghz/3600+ cpu, lots of ram, and a nice r420 or nv40, you're all set ;)

Jim,The nature of your reply wasn't exactly what I was expecting, especially from a staff member, but I thank you none-the-less for the info. If no stutters, I'm sold.

It was meant to be light-hearted!! I guess it didn't come across that way. Next time I'll use a bunch of smilies! As I re-read my answer, I do understand how it could have been taken the other way though, sorry.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004proudsupporter.jpg

Not a problem. ;)
