July 8, 200421 yr Hi,Just wondering what the default cloud layer limit setting is with the latest AS build. I have 5 but I keep seeing posts with 10. Also in fsuipc 3.30, do you have to select wind smoothing in the program(fsuipc)?Thank-You
July 8, 200421 yr Hi,With the older builds I believe it was 10 and the option was turned off. With this build the default is 5 and the option is turned on by default.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004proudsupporter.jpg
July 8, 200421 yr Hi Jim,Thanks for the reply. As for the wind smoothing, I do see AS2004 has the wind smoothing checked but what I meant is do I have to select the smooth winds near aircraft in the fsuipc winds option? Thanks in advance.
July 8, 200421 yr Hi Tony,I would like you to try MR2 beta:http://www.hifisim.com/AS2004MR2-b115-RC1.zipThen from the latest read-me:MR2 now supports integration with the new FSUIPC v3.30 with real-time wind smoothing. All wind shifts have been eliminated. Registered FSUIPC users can change the smoothing interval parameters via FSUIPC options (Winds Tab). Unregistered FSUIPC users get the default 5deg/kts wind change per second. FSUIPC 3.30 OR LATER MUST BE INSTALLED!Route-based wind smoothing has been disabled entirely and the option has been removed. You can now experience smooth winds with or without processing a flight plan. Counter-clockwise winds fix has been disabled entirely and the option has been removed.FS9
