July 11, 200421 yr Hello, as long as i am waiting for my brandnew Licence (purchased via Simflight) i would like to ask some questions:1. Is there a way to configure Active Sky to automatically load without intervention before use? Can i load it with Windows Autostart to prevent manually startup of the program?2. Are there recommended settings for use with VATSIM (i.e. is the VATSIM weather the same then the original weather?)Kind regards (and look forward to use the great add-on)Michael
July 11, 200421 yr Hi,Thanks for your purchase!1. As you will see after you read our great manual, FS should be started first, then Active Sky. So this is not a good idea. It really takes a very short time to start our program and get going.2. There is an option to use VATSIM weather that you will turn on. The other settings remain the same. Again, our great manual will walk you through it and we are also here to help you! The weather will match the controller weather at your departing and destination airports.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004proudsupporter.jpg

July 12, 200421 yr MichaelI believe that you could use the program FSUIPCRun Options to start AS2004 automatically with Flight Simulator. I used to use it in the past to start up Flight Deck Companion with FS2002, so there is no reason why you couldn't use it with AS2004.I always start AS2004 first, but have it set to boot up in 'paused mode' via the AS2004 options. Then once I am at the airport of my choice, I pop into AS2004 and click 'refresh' to get the ball rolling. You can download it from Pete Dowson's (the FSUIPC developer) site here :-http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.htmlRegardsGraham

July 24, 200421 yr It works very well...make sure you set the options to "READY, CLOSE" so AS starts after FSUIPC gets it's initial reading from FS9.
