Hi Jim-Mystery solved. ZoneAlarm strikes again. It seems that ZA is getting more and more pernicious 1. Tending to cause death or serious injury; deadly: a pernicious virus. 2. Causing great harm; destructive: 2. Archaic. Evil; wicked.)as time goes by :>) The last upgrade (free) disabled my ability to print on my HP printer which, thru forum searches is a known problem that they're 'working on.' Seems to have the same effect on AS because after tricky disabling, it works once again. FYI and for future connect problems, disabling ZA won't do it. You have to go to My Computer>Manage>Device Manager>View>Show Hidden Devices>Non-plug and play devices and at the very bottom of that list is a file called 'vsdatant'. If you disable that, not only will your HP printer work, Diskeeper will then be able to run a Boot Time Defragment and AS will work! Thanks for a great product. I'm really enjoying AS as I'm pretty much a PT VFR pilot.Mark
