August 30, 200421 yr Hi I having problems with the upgraded version of fsuipc needed for activesky and older verions needed for pss aircraft. The pss aircraft keep wanting the older or registered version.Any ideas ?regards Rob
August 30, 200421 yr I, along with many other people on this forum I'm sure, use AS2004 seamlessly with PSS aircraft so it is possible to get the combo to work. When you install the PSS aircraft, do not install FSUIPC. Instead, use the version that comes with AS2004 (build 142 includes the latest version 3.317 that is not yet available on the Schiratti Web site).Hope this helps!Edwin
August 31, 200421 yr Thanks Edwin, obviously both programs are going to work together it just so happens that mine doesn't. It seems that pss aircraft needs an older version of fsuipc as the activesky(beta) requires 3.3.1.7 which is what I have. If I have the older verion of fsuipc the pss aircraft runs fine but not the activesky so its the more recent versions that seem to cause the problemregards Rob
August 31, 200421 yr Rob,Hmm.... You might want to try the FSUIPC forums or the PSS forums on this one. What specifically is the error message that PSS gives you? I just overwrote the FSUIPC that came with PSS with the one that came with AS2004 and voila, everything worked. One thing I'm sure of is that you want to stick with the new FSUIPC (version 3.317 that comes with AS2004) because the PSS aircraft should work with the new one whereas AS2004 would definitely not work with the older PSS version.Perhaps you could try the following?1) Delete FSUIPC.dll and FSUIPC.ini2) Install the PSS aircraft, installing the old FSUIPC that PSS seems to prefer3) Run FS2004 to get FSUIPC to generate a new FSUIPC.ini4) Install AS2004.5 build 142 and overwrite the old FSUIPC.dll with version 3.317Hope this helps!Edwin
