Wind Noise!!

hi - i'm using as4.5 with fs9.1 - no problems apart from a gusting wind noise not only when viewing the a/c from outside but also from within the cockpit. BTW i also have just purchased active camera 2004 v.2 so i don't know if this is the culprit or whether it's to do with AS itself. Has anyone had / got similar issues or can someone please please tell me how to disable this wind noise!!CheersRick

Rick,If Active Camera is installed wind sounds are played in spot plane view. Wind sound will be active only if wind is blowing at least at 4 knots. The ambient volume increases as the wind speed increases.All ambient sounds (wind, steps, buffeting) can be enabled/disabled (Options

Thanks for all your help lads - I've done as you suggested and just pressed Sound Off - worked a treat!Only other problem is that Active Camera doesn't work on my machine - I installed the patch but just can't get it to work.ThanksRick
