December 13, 200421 yr or does it just show the real world weather using existing graphics. As in, does it improve clouds, rain, and snow etc. or just show them where they should be. Thx!rgds, billg
December 13, 200421 yr Hi,It does improve the cloud combinations that you see and how they are layered. Not really sure how the rain and snow could be visually improved, though Chris of FSW does have a snow fix to fill in the missing area of snow around your plane in certain views.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004proudsupporter.jpg
December 13, 200421 yr thx for the quick reply Jim (again!). Another question, and this is not AS related but I'm on a flight now and the ground level is about 2500 feet with mountains. The clouds are nestled among the peaks and I'm getting huge amount of shimmering. What can I do to minimize that? Without AS I'd just raise the cloud lvl above the mountains, but maybe this is just a MS thing that we have to live with if we want the clouds where they really should be. If the clouds are really there, and FS can't draw them properly....Thx again.rgds, billg
December 13, 200421 yr Hi Bill,Are you using default FS clouds?Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004proudsupporter.jpg
