Flying the Flight One ATR, I was climbing out of PADQ with the A/P engauged, all of a sudden I started to porpoise... VS would indicate 2300 then down to -500 then back up to 2300. Anyway it eventually stabilized..Now the weather is bad and I am using Active Sky, so I wonder if this was due to up and down drafts? Or was there a minor glitch with the auto-pilot? This is the first time this has happended.Any ideas?Barry

With that kind of rate change.. It wasn't bumpy... It was more like a smooth porpoise up and down.. Good thing I was cargo..Barry
