Featured Replies

I recently installed PMDG 737-800/900 addon .Snce then my AS doesn't work as it used to. It recognizes the starting airport, but somehow it's not able to download the weather.Anybody familiar with this AS/PMDG problem ? It worked fine with the 737-600/700 . Sollutions ? Thx.Earl.

Hi,Can you tell us a little more about this "not able to download the weather"? Does AS attempt to download? Do you get a timeout message? Do you get an error message? Please tell us a bit more!Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004proudsupporter.jpg

AS attempts to download, but yes it times out whitout a message.I don't get any message. Could it be the weather servers gets overloaded, since this addon has become so popular.ThxEarl.

Make sure the PMDG install didn't overwrite the latest version of FSUIPC. I have no problems using Active Sky with any version of the PMDG aircraft.Paul M."Big Sky---Little Bullet"---For All Other Impediments There's TCAShttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/ng_driver.jpg

Jim and Paul,Apparently everything is back to normal. No problems with other aircraft. No explanation, didn't change anything. What I've noticed is that it takes a lot longer to download weather, especially in Europe and the Caribbean.Could be the demand on the weather servers is getting way too much.Thx for your help and keep up the good work.RegardsEarl.
