December 14, 200223 yr I've downloaded and installed all of the VBR6 files and the .NET framework and when I go to start EVP, it says _CorExeMain failed. What does this mean??? Is there a way to fix it??
December 15, 200223 yr I have no idea what the VBR6 files are, but I'm sure you don't need it (it might be the Visual Basic 6 runtime, but EditVoicepack is written in C#, not VB, and certanly not version 6).I have never seen this problem before, but the standard 5 seconds search on groups.google.com indicates a problem with the .Net install. Try uninstalling it (from Add Remove Programs), then reboot and install the .Net framework again. If this does not help, try searching Microsoft's knowledgebase and google. Basically this error happens in the framework, not in EditVoicepack, so Microsoft is the right place to look for a solution.
