I recently purchased a Garmin 196 portable GPS, which can be set to recieve GPS (NMEA) input from source other than a connected antenna. I'm trying to feed GPS data from FS2002 to the Garmin, so I can view my position on the Garmin moving map, just like I do when I'm flying my real plane.I tried a program called "GPSOUT" by Pete Dowson - but it doesn't work. Any body used this program? Any other ideas?

Works GREAT for me but I'm using it with a laptop and AAA map'n go software so I know it sends the info it just could be a config problem. I don't remember does it work with (nmea) format and if it does then reread the doc's. I wish I could be more help but it's been almost 2 years since I set it up. It still works great for what that is worth. Good luck!
